From Dream to Reality

For more than 20 years, I nurtured a dream – to share my cherished carrot cake recipe with the world. After years of using my skills and talents to build and grow technology companies, the time came for me to turn my baking passion into a thriving business. In June, 2023, I took the  leap and launched my very own Carrot Cake Factory. Adam Scully-Power, thanks for the "affirmational nudge" that tipped the scale.

My carrot cake recipe is not simply a collection of ingredients and measurements; it is an embodiment of family traditions and shared experiences. Even the orange color of the carrots and the unique zest in the cream cheese frosting radiates warmth, happiness, and vitality. Over the years, I have meticulously refined the recipe, adapting it to perfection with each iteration. This cake, affectionally known as “Ola’s Famous Carrot Cake” has been a constant presence at our family gatherings, birthday celebrations, and even weddings, drawing delighted smiles and sparking conversations.

My why is community. My vision is to build a community around Carrot Cake Factory that brings people together, forging connections and creating new memories.  I invite customers to contribute their own memorable moments and experiences, fostering an engaged community of carrot cake enthusiasts. As our community grows, I am excited to experiment with variations on my original carrot cake, including introducing gluten-free options so everyone can experience the joy of my creation.

I hope my journey serves as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs, reminding all of us that with perseverance and a sprinkle of love, dreams can become a reality.
